Apart from the Oil Prices decline, landmark has a problem with their new software products not finding takers because of inherent weaknesses. I wonder whether this is exacerbating layoffs.

Production area software (Tow, DSS) has been treated for many years like the stepchild by Landmark. All the focus is in their G&G software which seems more reliable and brings more revenue. It does not surprise me the 'new' TOW is not performing well. I hope they dont layoff Landmarkers involved with TOW and DSS products. The problem is with management lack of vision and good strategy for them. They think Pakistan developers can keep the products alive but without good direction not even cheap programers can help.
Yes, our company use TOW software. We tested the new offering (replacement) and found that it does not work. We did some due diligence and found that the new one has not had a successful implementation so far. We have also tested DSIS and were not satisfied with performance.
"inherent weaknesses" of the software? what are you basing this statement on? have you tested it? have you used it at all?
