Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Any comments or opinion out there?

Is the immediate headcount reduction over? Meaning the response to market conditions. That's a question, does anybody have anything to make me feel better? We've endured this last wave if you look at it as one reduction running from early January to mid-February. But now reality is setting in. The same economic conditions still exist, price panic isn't over yet and the merger and related fallout is going to impact our future in some way but even if you survive that there is now this layoff specialist becoming involved with the business dealings. What's the chatter that I am not hearing?

At Multi-Chem HR is processing layoffs as fast as possible and I hear some big names in the PSL will get cut soon.
