In 09, they paid my buddy the following week. Of course hr wouldn't let him leave the room without signing the agreement.
They will probably bundle the severence with the bonus.

Laid off 1/28 and returned signed severance form via email on 2/5. Still have not received payment.

Would be interesting if anyone that had been laid off the week of 1/26 has received their severance pay today.
Other than that it just confirms that HR is as slow as ever.
Here's to new and better opportunities, and of course that we all will be paid sooner or later.
If we are having problems getting our severence. I guess getting the bonus for 2014, that we busted our ass for is going to be a bigger problem.
Same here. I was laid off on 2/2, did email the release agreement on 2/3 and did sent it by mail the same day. I did receive a confirmation email from myHR on 2/11 confirming that my release agreement had been received. So my thinking was that I would get it paid this Friday 2/20. If I count the 7 days from 2/11 on as mentioned by Anonymous 69556, then it would be another 2 weeks to the next payday on Friday 3/6. However I did receive pay on 2/6 as my last paycheck and my vacation up to Feb was paid out a few days later. Let's see what happens on Friday 3/6.
My layoff date was February 2nd. To date, no payment for the severance package.
Technically, after HR receives your signed severance package, they will wait for 7 days (provoke period, in case you do), then they will proceed the paycheck to you at the next pay period. Just hope if your mail/fax won't go into another galaxy.

That's why they want is to mail it in or fax it so the can claim that didn't receive it.
If you have signed the legal contract that they gave to get your severence. Then you might want to get legal advice or proceed with a lawsuit.

Havent received mine either!!! Got laid off feb 4 and was told i would receive my severence on the next pay period !!!!!! Wtf
