Plant closed it's doors laying off all of its 58 employees. Layoff includes admins, field techs and coordinators, management, and maintenance positions.

Years ago petroleum waxes were produced by BHI at Kilgore. That part of the operation was closed down as the first phase to get out of polymers altogether. It has been a long haul but thankfully HAL will see that goal is met.
