Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Each department or branch is a little different but in general they say speak up but it is just the opposite. They do not want opinions about anything. Anything you say or do can and will be held against you. Think of this bank being run by a TSAR. Each week the TSAR will pass down how you should act and how you should perform. The next week another demand will come down and you will dance on the desk. Around Voting time they will attempt to tell you who you should vote for and in some respects hint the government is why you are making less money and why they fire and lay people off. Crazy stuff. Remember the rules in the handbook overlap department rules in the opposite direction so you can be fired for violating the rules before you walk in the door. Also remember everyone is being controlled and driven by a negative Personnel development plan and its all scripted even if it looks like you are given a choice. No one is your friend even if they have a smile on there face and talk to you kindly. You must make your own judgment but if things do not feel right you should quit as fast as you walked in, don't make excuses to make yourself forget. Its like being trapped in a bad infomercial.
