I've heard less than 35 left. That's not a bunch with a population of 5500 employees dumbass. Plus who leaves a company (but dumbshits) when this company just paid out record bonus and is making great progres? Keep watching the scoreboard smart man - the stock will climb when CHK gets it all cleaned up from the prior ousted management! And you know it.
They may not need a layoff, bunch left after getting their bonus....taking open positions while they can. Rest of you get back to work cause the stock price sucks......work harder, longer and do something positive for the shareholder. Stock Price = Score Board.....right now CHK has nothing but losers!

I wasn't dumping on you. Just need to be realistic about the times. Those closest to Doug won't have to worry. The rest of us need to be padding the emergency fund, paying down debt and preparing for a rainy day.

Sorry, you freaking dipshit. We're going to work and do as we're told -- just like grownups do everyday. If layoffs come, we'll move on and be happy we had a chance to make great money. One thing I won't do is come back here and take a dump on the people who still have a job.
There won't be ONE oil company go unscathed the longer these depressed commodity prices last. Some companies will just have to shed people sooner than others to pay the bills. CHK has too many employees - everyone around can see that.
