Pressure pumping

Anyone care to speculate on what will become of pressure pumping? Do you think it will go with Hal or be sold off? Who would be the most interested purchasing party?

My opinion they will get rid of as much pressure pumping as possible ie.. Closing district down. So they can sell it off for a cheaper price while cutting assets and limiting competition for Halliburton in the future.

Pressure pumping more than likely will be sold or shutdown because Halliburton is supposedly #1 for frac, at least in the U.S. already. It's all about staying on top & making money...by picking BH apart they will aquire either technology and divisions they don't have or that are superior to Halliburton's, plus they'll be able to expand into additional oilfield services areas that they don't have now. That's what, why, & how any corporate takeover works...it's a money game and how companies become a powerhouse. I hate to see all the BH employees lose their jobs and it seems somewhat unfair.

Cementing will be sold as part of assets that have to be sold because of the merger

Cementing is definitely gone based on cuts in Canada.
