All of us who work here to feel like just another body or just another number. A lot of people got stuck in certain paths (customer service, teller, project manager, etc.), but once you break free from that congestion, it may take several years of crazy hours, things may improve for you... For us tellers it's a bit difficult form the scheduling perspective as we often have to work weekends which is a bummer but not that bad. My branch never had layoffs, I've been been with Bank of America for almost three years and there were no layoffs period in my branch.

Depending on the line of business they place you in moving up in the company is VERY difficult. Pay for a new position is based on your existing pay and capped at a certain percentage rate and has nothing to do with job you are actually doing. BofA is stingy you need to fight for yourself.
The teller training can be much better - It's dull and computer based in the banking center. Do not hope you'll get some human interaction and mentoring here, no direction at all and I was having to redirect customers whom I could not help being as how I took the training while sitting at a teller window.
