I have heard rumors certain departments will be eliminated and centralized anyone know the facts? I have witnessed several layoffs since I started not sure if I should start looking

Argosy has been around for some time. University of Sarasota in Florida was absorbed by Argosy well over 10 years ago, and the degrees from the likes of Argosy et al have as much value as any degree. Remember, the degree is made by the individual who acquires it. Doctors graduate from medical school and someone is top of the list and someone is bottom of the list. The sheepskin on the wall doesn't tell you which they were...so a degree from any college has the same truth...leave this forum now and let the adults handle the conversation, your ignorance is showing.
The top management at SAC is the worst of the worst. They need to go get real jobs except most of them are not employable outside the incestuous EDMC hire within system. Online PHDs and MBAs from tiny unknown for-profits like Argosy dont cut it in the real world. Besides, its a very small school, and it has not been around all that long 5 years maybe?. SF has several other nonprofit art schools that could handle all the art students.
Haven't you noticed that you are getting less emails, managers are doing less reporting, the urge are small campuses to meet registration percentage slowed down, admissions not eager to meet the April start, and several questions for housing about their leases and enrollment numbers? There will be a teach out for small campuses. Financial aid and registrar will be cut when teach out happens because they can easily be centralized like all other for profit schools. You can leave now or you can wait until hundreds with your same credentials are looking for the same jobs.
