Laid off

Worked harder than most. The ppl sitting on their asses got to stay. Hard work does not pay off apparently.

I don't know about that. There were many that were let go at Rankin that were just plain lazy, a lot weren't, but there were some.

Welcome to being dependent and at the mercy of someone else. Many of us are in that velvet trap, well, I was. I had to learn to understand that the companies are not employing me to make me fulfilled, they need me to make THEM profits. I had to start from scratch on my own, it was painful, hard and I almost gave up but, my inner resilience made me fight. I might not be making the almost six figures I was making in the industry but dammit, I am fulfilled, happy and slave to no one. Fulfillment, priceless!

It does if you work for yourself. You will never have wealth working for other people. They will always be looking to find a cheaper way.
