Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

You are the new red

For the second time in Halliburton big merger histor the incumbent MWD and Drilling tools with be discarded, if the rumors are true. I was hoping to be part of true strength in an integrated Halliburton, but I may be on the street. My office is nice, and our campus is nice. FYI for whoever gets it: yes, that jesus looking coffee stain is my fault. It's a long story. Hope to see you'll around.

Umm...maybe I read it wrong, but I think OP is saying that Halliburton's MWD and drilling tools will be discarded, not BH.

It makes sense to keep BH drilling tools but BH wireline is a cluster.

What a load of horse manure. " incumbent MWD and Drilling tools discarded, if rumors are true, true strength in an integrated Halliburton, jesus" that's an awful ARROGANT statement, what nonsense, blah - blah - blah, spare me. Integrated Halliburton my ass, what are you guys drinking down there? Somebody had one orange whip too many. Rumor - or IF, whoever gets spun off, a contributing factor will be managements inability to provide the needed results. And that same management that has proven to be less than effectual, that same management then gets to sit in judgement of everyone else ?? and decide which heads will roll?? That's a lot of responsibility given to someone who now has a marginalized history of the right decisions. Hit the street buddy. You want to save some money, start at the top and spare the new owner the expensive baggage. that's my opinion.
