Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

When I was laid off, HR took my badge and cell phone. They did not ask for network or spreadsheet passwords.

Does IT have the technology to figure out usernames and passwords?

Hey!!! When Halliburton gets through cooking off all the fat from BHI, don't forget to wave & smile at your old "Baker Executives" when you see them in the ditch picking up those aluminum beer cans they threw out the window 6 months ago. If cans are selling for $ .50 a pound, offer them $ .25 a pound. Even less if they ask you for a ride home. Remember, they didn't offer you a ride on their cabin cruiser when they were "Big-Timing" it around town.

Download your phones to your personal phone and keep all your contacts. When they snatch all your worldly contacts out of your hand, you'll still have them in your own phone. Those contacts are your window to the world of business AND THEY KNOW IT!!! Keep your contact numbers safe. When you have to start your own business to survive, you'll have the most important part already done because you have no business if you have no customers. Always remember that your real job is not to predict the future but to prepare for it.

Hey, send me your old Baker e-mail address & I'll keep your ex-boss up around the clock. Post it on here and I'll get it.

Hell, No!!! Don't give 'em shit. They're not giving you anything but a red hot poker in the booty hole. Lock everything up and put a few viruses in there, too. Make those pricks earn their money. Better yet, after you save everything, delete every f***ing thing off the computer. Folks like you had to earn it for them while you were

there because they were busy

getting a manicure and you were

wading around in a mud hole during

a sleet storm. I can hear them now, "Men, you guys were the absolute best in the company: lowest cost, highest profit, 10 record years back-to-back, but it's not us or you. It's just a business decision. NOW GET THE F*** OUT!!!!!!!"

All the Baker big wheels are buying new boats with your bonus money they're screwing out of you. Cabin Cruisers to spend a few days tooling around the Islands. Maybe Halliburton will run off all the old Baker Hughes management, from the President all the way down to the Regional Managers and ALLLLLLLLLLLL the SALES MANAGERS. F***ing twerps.

Stupid me gave my passwords when I was laid off. Found out my ex manager is still sending emails under my name to the customers. What she does not know is one of my friends works for one of the companies and she is asking for a bunch of needless stuff and making her work extra hard. I called HR and asked them to close my email and so far it’s still active.

There is plenty of legit tools under fifty bucks that will crack any Excel or Word password. You can do the same with PDF files, they are a bit more expensive. IT has access to your network and email passwords, they cannot know what your password is as it's encrypted but they can reset it to a default one and authorize anyone to receive an updated password link.

Most locked spreadsheets can be unlocked using hex editor

Excel passwords are needed if the spreadsheet is locked.

Once you are gone they should be able to simply take away all access you had, making your passwords useless

HR did not take my Baker credit card. I cut it up when I got home. They did not ask for my usernames or passwords either.
