At least 3,000 more in USA will be laid off or on buyout BEFORE the end of June. So it is definitely going to affect the numbers mentioned here (thread below). Some are in the denial of being laid off. They have a false sense that "I wasn't laid off on last go around, so my job is safe." They will surely be brought back into the oil industry reality, which is this, put so simply: You are not safe and you cannot think you are. Be prepared to support yourself and your families. People WILL be laid off and facilities in USA WILL be closed. And if you wish to keep your head in the sand and think your indispensable you will be sadly mistaken.

If you think you are safe, you better be related to a manager or brown nosing real hard. 3,000 additional layoff's is a conservative number. The odds of WFT going under are on the rise.
