Became a CPA
RIF'd last year. Have 6 part time jobs to make up for the current debt and to make the same salary.
At a traditional, well respected university.....better position and the same pay as UOP.....
Left the industry. Too disgusted with the for profit atmosphere. So disappointed that I believed I was doing something worthwhile when all along I was lining the pockets of the rich and putting people into debt.

Back to the strip club for me. Money is not as good but the clients are just like my UoP directors.
I'm on my third job since walking out of UOP. I've found better jobs each time. I thought at one time I'd never get out of uop. I did, you can too.
UOP is a stain on a resume like Slick Willie's spump stain on Monica's blue dress--both make people vomit.
863 - I assume you are being facetious. Have you seen their layoff board?
The Art Institute! They care about their students and you don't have to fear about your job being eliminated!

I'm a PhD who taught part time for them only. I have a full time gig, but the other folks who were let go a few years back struggled. As are the ones now.
I was in Finance, went to a State Unverisity
Should be ideally suited for payday loans, drug dealing, working as a lobbyist, altarboy for the catholic church, anything in the tobacco industry, tow truck driver, they might even be good enough to buy coffee at a law firm.
Left the industry.
