Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

HR

As an ex-HR who was also laid off, we do not wake up with the hopes of truncating careers. We have to muster all the courage to go along with directives. Trust us, we are also human and we know that our jobs are in jeopardy.

Of course not...you missed the point that it was part of the documentation for keeping staff vs. those laid off.

I am glad you're gone HR. I wish you don't find any other job to give out more misery to kids and families. You are a shame

HR and supervisors who followed company policy as directed is one thing and when done appropriately they can’t be blamed for layoffs.

But, same folks going about layoffs by intentionally lying to employees in advance of their layoffs and the dishonestly shown in having prepared to keep select employees by insuring energize awards were given and reviews were in good order while others were not is simply under handed and shows no personal integrity whatsoever…all to save their own butts, at least temporarily.
