Sales is the first step in this viscous cycle of failures. You can not sell a plane for 2/3 the cost, tell the customer that it will be complete in an unattainable time frame with half the manpower. God help you if you need engineering support especially at night or the weekends. This location could make money and restore the reputation of L3 but no one will stand up and give a more realistic cost, manpower and time frame bid. When this finally happens, Waco L3 will be a more formidable competitor in this business.

What is going on in Waco manufacturing? Slow boat and can't hit a delivery schedule?

Gee, I wonder if we could incorporate this layoff-by-gaggle approach into our Communication Systems Group standard HR process.

The real workers are now gone. Those left behind will wonder "Are the lay offs over? When are they coming for me?" As for me I am happy to be released from the L-3 prison of limiting beliefs. Good bye good ole boys, have fun with each other- God knows you have experience at that!

115 total according to memo. Several did not deserve. Many others that were protected that should have gone. Red neck mafia survives again.
