Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Company will be doomed

Well as I see it if there's no payrise +no bonus for the minions (pip) and uncertainty of having a job (now or next few month ... Or when hali take over) bhi is screwed as ppl will jump ship ok for the average machinst etc money normally not as good out with the energy sector but your office jockeys will find somewhere else to work the resentment for guys getting a bonus on icp and not pip is bad enough as it is .... Doesn't matter for me but the guys still there are bound to think what's the point in having end of year reviews etc record revenue blah blah only incentive now is to keep your job which is a roll of the dice it seems anyway

HTC Houston used to be a the ICP bonus plan until the merge with BJ Svc's and got a bonus even in the big down year of 2009. But since we've been on the PIP (peon incentive plan) we haven't rcvd a bonus the year after we had a "Record year." But the mgr's in our dept were getting 25 - 50K bonus'. So, now it really doesn't matter if we meet the HTC goals to get a bonus since it all depends if the board decides if there's enough money left over to give the PIP after paying all the upper echelon their egregious bonus'.

I understood what he was saying and he has a point....What is the incentive for employees to stay with no bonus or raise? Moral is low enough now BUT, if this does happen, people will start walking.

Some people need to look past the grammar and spelling. His point was clear.

Have current or recently laid off personnel been told for a fact by Baker that there are no March 2015 bonus pay outs?
