my boss told me over here at flr that the old fsc building will be gone come summer and that the flr building will be gone at the end of next. all employees are expected to move to the building in westchester or become contractors and work remote.

I suppose if you outsource IT that is hundreds of people you don't need space for and floor 7/10 would be freed up as well.
The same reason MLS spent $25,000 remodeling her office in RG knowing she would be moving to a new office in Westchester in 12 months. All the money they need for their comfort and for their friends at Kfart and Sears, none for the current associates that built the company. And appearances. Everything is fine, see we put up a new sign.
I don't understand why they put up new signs at FSC if we are moving. Has there been any preparation at FLR for our move?

Interesting, except our tower is currently full (the Follett space is fully allocated) and their are tenants on the other floors with leases. Perhaps some functions will move to Westbrook but it doesn't seem feasible that everyone moves since there is no space and very little reason too. If you are shared services that is probably true sometime over the next few years (HR and accounting, IT moves to India).
