I'm just annoyed with being micromanaged. If I am putting students in school and on track to hitting my ridiculous goals then leave me alone. I have a system and it works. Stop pulling me from my desk telling me higher ups expect x amount of dials and x amount of talk time. Micromanage those that aren't performing and just let me do my job. Maybe those higher ups and corporate need to sit and be ARs before they tell us how to do our job. That's my complaint. To think that pretty soon we are going to be held accountable for 4 classes instead of 1...
Pace generates a report that all of us can see. It shows each dial and how long it took. If you're dialing and hanging up right away it shows 3 seconds or however long it took. They can listen to those calls and see if you were just hitting dial and hanging up or if the VM kicks on. It's pretty simple, dial and talk to people. It's not that hard. The only thing I'm annoyed about is tracking calls over 2 mins as PACE doesn't always track those properly.

81267, I didn't think about that. Seems like a valid point. Who were the reps let go for this unethical lack of dialing??? That was such a huge secret, so seems only logical that you are right!!!
I would second that. To my knowledge, pace talks to campus vue for reports but the phone and pace have their own reports. If they were connected fully they wouldn't need to run both in the morning. Just another scare tactic to get people dialing in PACE since we no longer have WCT from the student center and as admission representatives we are doing their job and if we aren't dialing in pace then they lose the numbers and conversions. If that happens then they messed up because that is more money lost.
