The entire oil & gas industry is facing a historic worker shortage

Back in 2013 during the boom years, an oil & gas CEO (Daniel Heintzelman) stated that 50% of the entire 10 million oil and gas workers are eligible to retire in 2015, and that the entire industry faces a human resources challenge. Back to today in 2015, the industry is laying off tens of thousands of workers due to redundancy. Once again, another oil & gas CEO in 2018 states that the entire oil & gas industry is facing a historic worker shortage. Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it.

If the folks in Aberdeen had a long history with the oil industry, I would assume they are aware of the boom and bust cycles of this industry. It is NOT to be trusted..at least for long periods of time.

Little did they know that in 2015 when they predicted that big shortage, it would be BUST time again huh? Ya just can't predict when it will bust..but you can predict that it WILL.
