Trust me, Jack does not have to hide his assets. After so many years of a Republican Congress, rich people can't be held accountable for...well, for anything they do really. The party has protected and supported the for-profit college industry to degrees that are so blatant they are almost unbelievable. From the "safe harbors" that let us still pay admissions based on enrollments, to lowering the 85/15 rule, to bullying ED to keep us safe from having to follow regulations. They have his back, and now Hawn's back as well. If you vote Republican, you may not complain about it (or the lack of accountability in the finance markets, for millionaires who get off on murder raps, etc etc -- your partisan duty is to hold those people above the law).

Camden Kid is a guy that has never worked in the for profit industry so he can't begin to fully understand how this entire thing works and what kinds of students we have to deal with everyday. Camden Kid - tell us more about your "Sounds like the Strike Student Debt movement would like to live there" comment regarding Jack's house. I'd really like to hear about government enforced redistribution of wealth from Jack (who, admittedly, is an asshole) to your poor, honest, hard working, long suffering, Corinthian 15 friends. Bear in mind that we actually work here and know these students. We were the ones bending over backwards to convince them that it might be fun to learn....something....anything. That they should show up for class once in a while, pay attention to the instructor. Trust me, we dared not expect them to do assignments or read a textbook in their "personal" time. That would be crazy! And getting documents to keep their aid flowing was OUR job. They can't be expected to have time for that! Yeah, tell us how they should end up in a mansion. I'm sure we'd all find your society-fixing ideas fascinating.
