I have seen this stuff going down, lots of layoffs before myself got laid off. Sure if you're in middle of the road seniority or a non-repetitive position, you have a good chance of survival, but people who do not fit that description are definitely in danger. In the division I was in (B&AT), I saw relief field sales, administrative, administrative assistant, field sales, city sales, sales managers, and then myself, engineering, laid off.
