Correct 1st May is the day and is not speculation, as already mentioned below. Can only see big cut backs in office workforce after recent Schlumberger announcement of 11000 new lay offs. Not good.

I heard in Rankin we have a big meeting at the end of this month. And since the calender is set, this could not be speculation. Anything from divestiture to more layoffs is possible in my opinion. We can not change it so I think working on our plan B's is a lot more reasonable than getting stressed everyday. Be strong, hope for the best but be prepared And Save as much as you can.

Oh don't forget the Egyptians. Last thing they did right was build the Pyramids. Country has gone downhill ever since. And now they infest Woodlands and Rankin Road.

Woodlands & Rankin Road....overpaid and overstaffed by lazy Indians, useless Nigerians and idiotic Italians who have had a free lunch ticket from Baker. One way tickets back home for you lot and your families.

I'm hearing major announcement on May 1st, with significant redundancies to be announced, possibly as high as 35%. Product line management are 1st in the firing line.
