Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Claremore Oklahoma Facilities

Rumors running rampant like usual. Biggest one being that May 1st will bring some sort of big announcement. Thoughts, opinions, rumor talk is all welcome. Frankly I think I speak for everyone when I say we are all just tired of walking in every morning unsure of weather we will have a job or not.

Let's hope those in the group who are enjoying themselves traveling overseas without BHI approval are not included in the sale.

For whatever value remains best solution is to sell it to a real polymer producer.

Craighead is steering BH like the captain of the Titanic. Hope that answers your question about Barnsdall. Sunk without trace.

What about the Barnsdall facility? Anyone know what its fate will be? Will the city of Barnsdall become a ghost town or will HAL feel sorry for it just like BHI did when they purchased Petrolite?

Like a lot of people I ask "why is management so quiet on this May 1st announcement, what in hell is going on?"

Also why a major announcement on a Friday? Make us work a week then lay honest hard working people off just before the weekend. Whole business just stinks, and underhand. Frustrations are building quickly here at Woodlands. Is it the same elsewhere?
