I think about 7500 could go from Chesapeake without there being too much of an issue. That will put it right at the size Archie wanted when he first came on

4600 actually and going down daily
And the market cap is obviously under valued. Not sure that's a very good measure on the amount of employees required.
Be careful what you say, what goes around comes around. And everyone that works at CHK acts entitled... But that doesn't mean they deserve to lose their livelihood and people should be entitled to jobs. Especially if they've worked hard for a company and not everyone that's let go is a shitty employee. Like I said, what goes around comes around.
CHK only have around 5500 employees
It's business, not charity. You aren't entitled to it.
To the last post, sometimes in business sacrifices need to be made for the greater good
Person who said 5,000 is still too many. Let's hope you're not next. That's not just numbers, that's people's lives. Most businesses in Oklahoma don't pay CHK wages. Might want to think about that as well.
5000 is still too many. It should be half that due to CHK's market cap.
Well the old wikipedia number is 12598 minus your claimed 7500= 5098, relatively close to what it currently is for personel.
No. Chk only has around 5000
Does CHK even have that many employees since spinning off SSE?
