The should sell Mirasol to Samsung, maybe they can make it into the market eventually.
As a matter of fact mirasol is a very sexy technology with unique potential in a the field of wireless portable devices qc should be a player. Big mistakes were made for sure to get it out there that cost a lot of money like fab c but that's the past. The fundamentals of the technology are still there though. Sad to see Qualcomm stopped being an innovator and pioneer and gives up on the future.

This is a strategic layoff done just before Q2 results to try to cause a bump in stock price.
Thanks SM for this brilliant eighties strategy. It's really the sign of great leadership to hold onto an underperforming division so you can cut them just before a disappointing quarter, hoping for a stock bump.

We all got called into a surprise meeting yesterday and was told. 7/31 is our last day to either IOS or take whatever package they might offer.

QMT is almost an "IP license" department for semiconductor manufacturing, a "fabless" semiconductor manufacturing technology.
Mirasol was a big loser. Not on the scale of Globalstar, but still...
