Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

PITTSBURGH IS AWESOME

Just another rumor. Doc Ex in Pittsburgh won't be included if its true. They are taking on more business. They can't afford another layoff. They need all hands that they have currently. Pittsburgh is awesome. They are willing to do any and all work they can get and they do it without complaining AND they do it right! AND they do it quickly. The employees in Pittsburgh are ranked very high within the BOA world. They even renewed their lease at that site. They will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Pittsburgh is a force that can't be beat. Management is the best! So, maybe they will get a raise to match all this unbelievably awesome work they do. Praise is good but everyone loves the rewards of more money. Go after it PITTSBURGH! You are the champions!

That sounds about right, BOA is not very compassionate about training anyone and if training is offered -compressed so badly no human could pick up the information. BOA is not good at understanding training logistics. Well-seasoned employees attempt to trick the training process to keep the job and push off the associate in training. The Merrill lynch side is the best at the tricks of keeping themselves employed. Some exceptions showing good honest trainers exist and a percentage of those want early retirement.

Last I heard Pitts. associates were dropping like flies b/c they were unable to carry the load handed to them on a sliver platter when the California associates in Simi were cut. Teams that had been together for 4 years and knew there stuff, were expected to train managers in 1 week with procedures so long that they rolled off a conference table. 3 weeks after training 1 manager with her JD gave her notice and 3 associate went on loa. With the inadequate training received be on the look out for federal violations in about 15 months. You can't outsource federal regs.

Ha! Got a few people worked up. Just what I was striving for with my post. I am not a dummy. Guess you cannot read between the lines where there is tremendous facetiousness. Get real "dummy". I know what is happening and most likely when. Ever since BOA took the reins from ML, they have all but destroyed the company and most of its employees. Sarcasm is my best trait and it worked yet again. I am far from being a dummy. The crap that was dealt by them, is not a part of my life any longer. I got out and dammed glad of it! My worth is much more than they could accept.

Employees in Pittsburgh are ranked very high within the BOA world????????

Is that what you think or is this the Kool-aid they are having you drink?

Pittsburgh is one step before outsourcing overseas.

Cost of Living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is about eight percent below the national average. Look it up online - it is called cheap labor!!!!

Pittsburgh was a great city long time ago (Pittsburgh once produced almost half of the nation's steel).

Congratulations dummy you still have a job for a few more days, weeks, months?

The same management is still there!

The managers eliminated most of the people they did not like.

You will eventually be eliminated. Tenured aka well paid people eliminated who would have had a good severance but sneaky boa found a way outta that. HR went back months looking for stuff.

I would be looking to get the hell out so they cannot steal your tenure next time.

Keep rolling the dice with your tenure.
