I keep hearing about 12th week layoffs, does anyone know anything about this? Is it faculty, staff, programs? Somebody has to know. Did the person who posted the list get fired? It seems like there used to be good layoff info on this site but now it's just so bad it's a waste of tim

I was sacked on 06.24 and was informed my last day was 07.18, followed up by presentation of severance package. It really depends upon the level of your position being terminated whether your last day is day of notice or a few weeks after to get complex matters settled for others.
Right, that's why I said it seemed odd. The big story will be the size of the layoffs. Whether it is June 30 or July something, it's going to affect a large group across the company
fiscal year ends June 30.... Lay Offs in June, no benefit to carrying them into July.
I know it's odd to have the layoffs after the fiscal year starts but I'm hearing July layoffs will be 30% of the company. Maybe the dates aren't accurate and could be late June but I'm hearing appx. 30% cuts.
I'm the lister. Still here. Just giving CK some room to ask stupid questions and watching everyone go crazy when someone bashes him. It is like whack a mole. Just posted the 11 week news. I've got more, but like to stretch it out a bit. Can't play all my cards at once.

The sad irony is that as they keep reducing services and staff, students become disappointed or disgruntled and leave. With fewer students, there is less need for services and staff. So more cuts are made...
June 30th is a target date for Several full timers to be let go in different departments. Several departments to be combined meaning some coordinators are history.
