Laid off in 1982 at HC. Went to Western for 3 years, laid off.
Finally left PA for the Sunshine state, recently retired after 29 years with same company.
Good Luck

Yep. He's Sure full of lies. Must know some one to get the job. Hopefully he will be moving on soon. He's a short timer
Don't feel bad. Frac isn't alone. The cement service manager in hc gave all the work to zville and now he wanders why the revenue is so low. Hmm go figure... Failed to realize you must catch jobs to pay the bills. But hey at least he has a home in Muncy unlike the rest of us left to suffer through his mistakes.
The new frac manager bought a house in Ohio, not Homer City or Cannonsburg. Pump trucks have been going to zanesville for fluid end work. The warehouse in Zville is filing some orders. Homer city maintenance made cuts a few weeks ago.it's pretty obvious that things are winding down at one facility and starting up at another. It won't be long until the Homer City yard gets shut down.
NO ONE knows what our company will look like when the companies combine.
It has never been done at this level before.
We may think we know but we don't.
Layoffs are not nearly over.
Northeast is planning another camp shut down as soon as Zanesville's Camp in Ohio is finished, it is nearly complete.
30 + years in Homer City is coming to a close soon.
i would have never called this post forum noisy in the first place.
Next round will be in August end or early September. After merger, probably in November there will be mass layoff. Still 2 more rounds in this year.
