Approx. 30 mid-level managers threw themselves a nice golf outing at the Golf Club of Houston, presumably to congratulate each other successfully reducing costs and driving efficiency in these tough times

It was not a company event. Just a bunch of golfers comprised of mostly BHI employees, friends, and family. All participants paid their own way and took vacation.
Surprised they actually bothered with the golf. Straight on the beer would be better.

And it was a thoroughly enjoyable game all round. Better than sitting in the office twiddling my thumbs waiting for the takeover. Afterward had a lovely meal (the lobster and fillet steak was heavenly) and all washed down with an expensive excellent dry white wine. And you know the best part we all put the cost on our company credit card as legitimate expenses, since we entertained 2 Halliburton executives. Really should make this a weekly event so we can get to know our new employers.

And that dumb Avon cunt Kim Ross gets on inside baker Hughes with an article mentioning how she threw out the flower guy so she could save money.... Incidentally no mention in that article that she's getting a 7 million dollar golden parachute and has only been with the company maybe 8 months total?
See you and I get a weeks pay for everyone year we've been here when they lay us off while she gets a million per month she's been here. See how that works? But it's all good we're going golfing
