They are constantly laying off in Aldine and Tomball. They also suggested two week salary cut ( voluntary vacation) to all US employees. Try to find something else than stress over the sinking ship.

107346, thanks for the great comment. I just hope that when Hal takes over that they get this guy by the seat of his pants and throw him out the front door. There are far too many like him still working for Baker. Again, thanks for calling this guy out.
Even if you ask when the next layoffs will happen.. they LIE!! they sit with you and a handful of other people to ask ..what's the rumors and they LIE to your face. It used to be called "coffee with Ralph" but there was never any coffee (WTF)..now it's called "straight talk".. lololo.. it should be called "lie to me in my face" because that is what Ralph Foxworthy does.. he's a FAT short LIAR!!!!!!! if he ever invites you to this "straight talk" meeting tell him the truth and he will tell you that its a rumor

I guess going down with the ship is noble....but won't pay the bills folks. Or, current baker-ites are under the illusion that ALL of them will keep their jobs when the merge happens....Good luck on that.
Layoffs at BHI will continue until the merge with HAL is complete. So, if you're in an area that overlaps a HAL area, it's best to keep your resume updated, and all your important files backed-up on an external hard drive since you won't get a chance when you get the heave-ho.
