With the company for 12 years and watched the corporate robber barons pull the wings off the schools. From 9 schools ( the good old days ) to over 50 in less than 15 years...a recipe for disaster. Greed, crookedness and bad management on many levels. The golden goose has stopped laying eggs...get out and take your 401K before they take it.

Adjunct is being required to attend as well. Minimizing classes to maximize population. F/T instructors will be picking up additional classes and adjunct will be put to pasture. As to the individual that suggested AIW going to 11 from 10 + 1 it is across the country alignment. AIW had 10 week classes for students. They are now making the curriculum 11 weeks and the largest impact is culinary which may be some of the culinary chatter mentioned below. The syllabus has to be changed with and additional week of cookery added.
It's likely that some programs are being moved to nearby campuses or closed. Not certain about that. Definite that there will be faculty reduction. Not at every campus though.

Down sizing according to current enrollment and profit margin goals. Nothing more nothing less. It's not personal, it's just business.
