so in reading the 'announcement' the figure listed of "More than 200 campus and online stores to Follett's Portfolio" appears misleading. Pay a visit to Neebo's front page (Neebo being the name assigned to Nebraska Book's retail division) and in the store locator screen it at first looks like quite a haul. Until one realizes that unless a campus is listed in the right column, the university is serviced by an online storefront ONLY. notable 'acquisitions' include such stellar names as 'Bossier Parish Community College' or 'Carteret Communicty College' and 'Elmherst college.' DG's follow up covers the only notable inclusions. Northeast Louisiana Technical College and similar appear to be window dressing for what is more likely just market consolidation. Not a real expansion of retail space, more a denial of retail space to weakened competition.
We would only buy there leases.
