Just curious....youbdonrealize american healthcare is also for-profit, right? Has that also failed?

The US has one of the HIGHEST graduation drop-out rates in the world and arguably the BIGGEST pool of endebted, unemployed graduates. A problem which has been ignored for too long but people are finally waking up to the facts. Anonymous107028 - What a simple minded person you are. Do you hold a 5 year old child to the same standard as a 30 year old adult? Would you hand the keys to your car to that child? US public universities turn out the highest graduation rates and employment in the world. They have earned their right to public funding. For-profits on the other hand have driven the car off the road, into a tree and fled the scene. They need to be caught and put away.
Imagine if for-profits first priority was education and not profit for its shareholders.
Public schools dont have to be held to the same standard as for-prifit because their results speak for them self. Their gainful employment is much higher as we all know.
Imagine if for-profit schools were held to the same standers with accepting qualified students.
Public schools screen out students with poor grades, poor working habits, poor attendance records, lack of talent...for-profits do not.

Imagine what would happen to the public schools if they were held to the same standard as "for-profit" schools; ie 90/10, no state or federal funding, gainful employment and publicizing graduation/actual placement rates....
