So far, Q has lost a position w/ Samsung, and some position with HTC,
and Apple is placing pressure by reducing patent royalty payments (via Erikssson's court battle)
and perhaps eventually getting rid of its dependence on QC's modem .....
Increasing competition from Intel in the data center space.... and MediaTek
in the low and now mid-tier --- according to economics, it's natural to have
profit driven to zero in competition unless ppl innovate new products. But,
Q is full of old tards.
Butt sooo, the fundamental reason Q is dying is because middle managers and senior
directors are leeches at Q, and forming "Survivor" peer review arrangements of back scratching.
The dumbass HR ladies, so dumb, get rid of
hard-working engineers at the lower levels (and yes, through PIPs) wile senior directors, MVPs, and
VIPs wink at each other and pat each other's private areas as their
projects get delayyyed and ultimately fail, surpassed in industry by new technologies...
mergers and accs needed to acccccquire new tech,
Q is going nowhere fast.
A bunch of H1Bs do the grunt work now, because deportation is worse (at the moment
still) and a once great company is trembling like a pussy-whipped dude,
and S&M and board are currently cashing their RSUs secretly, slowly, sadly,
while Januss (which probably has an annoying voice like Chandler's ex-GF
on Friends) is forcing Q to buyback its own shares (which should be used da
funding new innovation) so that the stock can be propped up
momentarily so that rich investors and board members can cash da-F-out.... they are
secretly dumping their stock just look for the public filings plus you can't see others,
the New York Times article is riightt about the RSU printing press,
great story for a movie. F yea, oh F yea, oh baby, here's my "oh" face, "oh" "oh" "oh"
