I am trying to decide what to do if ultimately there will be more layoffs it would be stupid not to take the 20 plus weeks vs. 12

So what is the outcome after yesterday's meeting?
For earlier layoffs, most were 1 week pay per one year service, but a cap of 13-15 weeks, so 26 looks like an improvement
I wish they'd offer the expanded severance to anyone who volunteered. There would be bloody elbows all over campus from people fighting to sign up first.

the "company" offered a severance package to full time faculty....wondering who took it. It was for up to 26 weeks pay (depending on time served)
