I like the huddles. One hour a week that the whole team does not work.
Weekly huddles oh what fun you are! Bahahahhaha!!!!
Who the hell hired GT? Biggest a$$wipe I have ever met. Terrible leader. Condescending to everyone unless he has anointed you. Has said about 3 words to me since he started, and those were at the coffee machine. AND I WORK IN HIS AREA! BS at the weekly huddle, he either doesn't show up or stands there and makes empty statements. He is the exact opposite of a leader.
"Just one leader showing unacceptable behavior can have a severe and negative impact on many individuals."
Impact can mean subordinates mirroring that behavior as a defense mechanism or way to survive in a hostile work environment.
GT= Great Trouble
GT stands for Giant Turd
GT Also means growth termination
Bad behavior=GT
Bad behavior is not visibly confronted. Behavior issues, if confronted at all, are behind closed doors and the other members of the organization have no idea whether any substantial corrective action is being taken. If behavior doesn’t improve with the individual in question then some may assume the behavior is considered an acceptable way to deliver results. Bad behavior needs confronted clearly and respectfully when it occurs so there is no question surrounding acceptable behavior.
Great article. Loved the comment about pre-meetings and values and behaviors.
