I am with BP, we heard this rumor many times. Do you know if we will be bought by you or what's happening? Many on my team think this is a very realistic scenario, after all we feel Exxon is a better managed company and we are all appalled with how much waste happens here at BP. At the same time, you never know how things will pan out. Thoughts?

EM will most likely buy ConocoPhillips or Anadarko - they may even be talking already. COP price is right
I agree. The US SEC would not allow the total purchase of BP.
After a lot of discussions at EM, I don't see it happening. I believe that it would be more likely of purchasing of assets or leases. EM does not want the liability of DWH or any other existing issues that might exist at other operating units.
