The First Amendment defends all forms of speech including hate speech, which is why groups like Ku Klux Klan are allowed to utter their poisonous remarks.

I really doubt IT is working something so trivial as a message board. Seriously, who really gives a shit? This is an anonymous message board where you can say anything you want whether it is true or not. For example, I saw the CEO walking down a street in Houston wearing a dress and high heels picking up johns trying to make a few extra bucks. Who cares? Besides I don't think anyone is left in IT. By the way, I'm not positive that was Bernard in high heels, but it sure looked a lot like him.
You should see how pissed managers are right now. They're trying to figure out who's posting and getting IT to help. I sure hope all these post were not done on company computers. I just chuckle at seeing managers squirm!
Really? PUHLEEZE....it's Anonymous postings! Who are they going to sue...Mr. or Mrs. Anonymous? You like to stir the pot obviously but it's just a display of your ignorance to make a statement that Weatherford is going fire anyone that posts here. You're just being silly and a lot stupid.
If you're not going to offend somebody you don't need the First Amendment.
We all have the right of freedom of speech under the First Amendment. We all don't have to agree with one another on our opinions.
The First Amendment applies to rogues and scoundrels. You don't lose your First Amendment rights because of a sleazy personality, or even for having committed a crime. Felons in jail are protected by the First Amendment
It just seems to be a human trait to want to protect the speech of people with whom we agree. For the First Amendment, that is not good enough. So it is really important that we protect First Amendment rights of people no matter what side of the line they are on.
I begin to feel like most Americans don't understand the First Amendment, don't understand the idea of freedom of speech, and don't understand that it's the responsibility of the citizen to speak out.
I'm not interested in censorship. I like the First Amendment very much.
