No deductions other than the normal taxes. The other deductions you might see are under the YTD (Year to Date) section, not the current check.

No not COP HR. Information provided is based on personal experience. You are welcome...

Life is not fair; but if you feel the layoffs are not legal please feel free to take legal action.

Sooooo, I guess COP HR has shown up on this site given the answer by #98410.

If that's true, I'd ask you to think really hard about whether or not this layoff was fair in that it targeted ALL the right grades, and included managers and not just technical staff.

Unused vacation is paid via separate check approximately 1 week after the final day on the payroll via paper check or direct deposit. The quickest method to receive payments associated with the layoff is via direct deposit. Unfortunately deductions of no value such as parking and United Way continue after the layoff via payroll. To the best of my knowledge deductions for unused vacation are federal and state taxes only. The paperwork associated with the payments include totals for all deductions to date. No harm in calling to check the status as paperwork does get lost. The staff working the paperwork are helpful. And the questions are better answered with a notation of the country as the process in Canada is different from the process in the United States.

My last day was the 26th. Have not seen a unused vacation check. Would this be separate from the last paycheck?
