The North East shop lays off 3/4 of its guy's today. No managers just us little guy's. Good luck to those that are left. All of the piss poor stuff that went on for 3 years it's no wonder. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

How can you keep going when your only have 3 jobs? They won't release any parts. Shit the closer is out running forklifts. What a joke. They are drilling all over the place and wft can't get more work? Bad manager!!! Bad salesmen!!!. Stupid decisions. They laid off the safety guy. Some people called this a year ago and now there gone. M K you were right and hope I'm next to go.

It is the salesmen. Every other company in the northeast is drilling but not WFT. So who is it then. Oh it's the shops fault that's why there all gone right. No its the office staff that was just let go right. I bet it wasn't all the failures fault. No its gases fault cause its not 6.00 a gallon. The closer. Boy they nailed that one.

Funny you wonder if it's the salesmen's fault. Every time there is a slow down mgmt always blames sales. Maybe you guys should read the freaking paper. Less rigs= less work. We have to many managers and mfg people. This always sucks. All we can do is try to ride it out. It will come back. Question is when. Good luck to all.
Every drilling services company in the north east is busy but not Weatherford. Why? Is it the salesmen? Performance issues? or Management? Such a shame. A lot of good people at that shop. Rig count is only down 4 rigs from this time last year so something is wrong. Got to be the managers. That's the only thing that changed.What do you think guys? I know you all read this page.
