I did not spell the persons name correctly but I just didn't notice that it was an I not a J. I was responded with ugly words because apparently that is all some people can understand. It won't come from me again. I'm not angry for the separation from Weatherford, I miss the people I have worked with for so many years, several of them took the package as well.

It's is truly amazing how people ASSUME that the people that were laid off , somehow brought it upon themselves. Yes, the fact is that a lot if folks that were let go did bring it upon themselves by not doing their job correctly, abusing time and ability to get along with co-workers. How about the the others.. and I'm not talking about buyout. There were people that had been at our facility for less than 4 years, but knew how to do their job much better than people that had been here for 20 yrs. They were capable if doing a lot of different aspects of the job. Never seen them late.. I mean never late. Always worked overtime when needed. And never ever took extra time at breaks. This one person at our facility was excellent at their job and yet was laid off. To this day I still cannot understand why. There are people that didn't like this person, because this person actually came in and did their job, and it made them look bad. So how do they determine who gets laid off. I thought that some of the people that got laid off should still be here. It wad a shock to a lot of people that some of these people are gone and yet they kept some that shoui have been let go years ago. Boggles the mind. And if you think about it, the good people they did let go are wondering, why , cause they were doing what they were supposed to be doing and yet... They are walked out as if they didn't. I don't get it.

Wft does not pay dividends
Just to let you know the chances of WFT going bankrupt are the same as a missile from North Korea hitting the USA WFT like most oil companies jumped on the fracking wagon just as our ancestors did in the gold rush only difference here is there's an endless supply of Oil out there so much so it has saturated the market WFT needs to adapt or die in this case they are adapting! Those laid off will be back sooner than they think although the 5-7 years high and lows will be replaced with 2 year highs then 2 year lows so lets get used to it. WFT wont allow bankruptcy correction the shareholders wont allow it too much to lose! They like us have reaped the rewards in the good times but still want the rewards in the bad so hence reduce the head count and running costs and keep paying the dividends. As for the lack of managers being hit they need to keep the cream unfortunately a lot of them have turned sour! maybe time for a clear out and bringing in new blood from other companies too many managers at WFT running their internal empires independently with their band of chosen minions fresh faces can change that and make WFT a No1 service provider

Burning a bridge with WFT is not really a bad move. The bridge is about to fail anyway. Burning it might help others from getting hurt. Bad management by WFT has ruined many lives in the past two years. Many good people who were true professionals at their job were let go, while others pretending to be managers, kept their job because of the regional manager on up that they know and brown nose too. yes all the big service companies have been laying off, but it is not due to fines imposed by the U.S. It's very bad decision making on the leadership of this company and the betrayal that has come down the ladder. There are still a number of these people working at WFT, who should have been fired a long time ago. Instead, they are still drawing their fat checks, while good hard working people have been let go. As for as the board of directors, Bernard and other piss poor management on down, the time cannot come soon enough when their stock will be worthless and these managers will be out of a job. Hopefully someone else will pick up the pieces with new management in place and keep the few hard working people who remain at WFT.
