I was laid off a few years ago from BHI when I refused to be transferred to a country where they were trying to kill people like me. Because of my residency status in a country where I have rights I was offered a pay out which while substantial did in no way compensate me for the 20+ years I spent slaving for these a-holes. I can guarantee that if you are on BHI international payroll and get laid off you will be lucky to get 2 weeks severance. Bu saying that, getting laid off from BHI was the best thing that ever happened to me. I now have a job where I am paid accordingly and valued for my efforts. If you get laid off look at it as an opportunity to get away from a blood sucking company and start new.
One more thing - If I was laid off with out proper severance from BHI I would try to get together with other people that had the same problem and sue BHI in US court.
