Some of the CRM's never should have had a job to begin with. Just saying. Dealt with them ALOT and they caused more problems. Some layoffs are needed.

All of this just adds more validity to the rumors that there will be no more severance packages. Which was denied by management of course.

They have had time to refine their games, such as “being in charge of your own career”, CBT’s, small print disclaimers, wearing too much cologne, your own personal email, one striker you’re out (Dirty pool indeed). They have provided a statement with their actions showing there are no loyalty agreements. If you choose to continue working for this bank in the future be warned now! Gather your evidence for the future and no crying on the way out. Dummies who are still working in the bank -you were warned by your prior co-workers on this website and do not run to us for sympathy when you are ousted. No one lasts at one job forever in this new American economy. You as a number will only be remembered for two things, your loyalty to all co-workers and your kindness to others. My two cents Yup whatever

I need to comment about Security and HR went back for several months to find anything they could. I agree and this tells me whatever they found was not a big dealt if it took them so long to act and no one was charged with a real crime. Big joke, do we have any lawyers present who would like to advertise there assistance for a joint lawsuit? I see age discrimination, harassment, and stealing by the bank. We all know the managers will squeal like a pig when put on the stand in court (brush their shoulder of responsibility as they normally do). We are all in agreement the bank would have supplied training if this were important. They have created more employee amendments and rules than you could possibly learn in a lifetime. This is petty bullshit to save money (Dirty Pool).

This firing over Web based training his hitting below the belt. Firing loyal hardworking Aplus people over thus issue is criminal. Ruining folks careers over Web based training. It was and is part of the culture of that office. .to share, teach, help people get through these tests that in most cases have nothing to do with their jobs. When someone asks a question about gov sanctions for foreign countries and you work in Bankruptcy, you most likely need help. 90% of those tests did not apply to the job you were doing. They ( the bank ) ignored all of this...trading answers, receiving help from others for more Tha 8 years. Now, suddenly it's taboo and they are ruining peoples lives as a tool to not p ay severance. The tests new twist, a disclaimer that says.. failure to comply will result in disaplinarry action up to and including termination. That's Bullshit too. That are firing first time offenders. It seems they need to change that to...you will be terminated if you help or share answers on Web based training. How about this,...why not have unit mgrs or VP have meeting with the group and explain that the bank will begin termination on folks going forward. No, they ambushed everyone. I have never seen or been a part of any meeting where this was discussed.

I sent a bugger of a complaint to HR and forwarded the complaint to my personal email address using it as a time stamp of events. Guess what, let go for proprietary information. It was my complaint, my words, my information about the complaint. HR laughed and said I should have printed the information instead. I laughed and said yea, I should have taken a pictures with my cell phone and then emailed it to myself (as everyone else does). I feel sorry for those left behind with diarrhea, sickness, zombie stares and proctologist appointments. Today I feel like a million bucks being away from the lovely place.

Beach St. Bankruptcy dept was blindsided May 12th and again yesterday over the cbt's. Six so far...All good, hardworking TENURED associates. Tenured aka well paid. Would have been a good severance but sneaky boa found a way outta that. HR went back months looking for stuff. It's been common practice to help/share answers in EVERY department I've worked. AND to add insult to injury some people are instantly fired for sending and or receiving but yet they're others who are just interrogated. Those must of not been paid as much as the others... Rumor has it that there's 4 more to be done by the end of the week. Also Risk and Compliance is now there doing "side by sides"

As a group (get it done, time constraints) our manager ran around and helped to spread understanding of the answers. It played out very well and we walked away with real life examples and understanding. The CBT is for “better realization, understanding, and communication”. We all know it is not cheating like an accredited college class or PHD. Perhaps if you were claiming this as a CPA credit it might be different (slap on the hand). They want to steal money from there employees and HR will use whatever means they have to mess with your career and income. Eventually they will loose all their employee talents and the bank will fall farther apart. They have already lost HR talent and brought in the worst intelligent underpaid people they could find. Do not forget these slime balls. Write there names down because you may have the opportunity to expose them before they attempt to slip in the door at your next job. Rate your managers online!

I find this hilarious, because in my former department, the managers wanted us to share our answers so we all would get them done timely.

I agree 100% shame shame BOFA, it was some great workers who was let go because of that. It seems that HR is enjoying coming up to the employees that's sitting there working hard only to embarass them by making them get up from their desks and following them to another location only to fire them. WOW, I guess they feel real good wiping out depts so no severance will have to be paid. Shame Shame.

At one point I thought the company would do the right thing for their employees. Most of us have worked hard for them. They have told us that the best of the best is who is left. They laid off those that were low performers and gave them a severance package. Ok, so yes people should not be sharing answers it's understood but to now fire your loyal hard working employees who have picked up the work of 3 people and are working harder than ever, they call it doing more with less... Perhaps they have much more work to do and they found a way to add more working hours by sharing answers to a cbt that takes 45 minutes to complete and had no real benefit. Again, yes it's wrong to share test answers but really did they have to fire this loyal employees who have (for the most part) done more with less.... A final written would have fixed the issue.

Talk about being unethical. Talk about being dishonest and dirty. They found a loophole to avoid paying severance packages to some of their most loyal employees. Shame on Bank of America... shame...shame.

Some of these irresponsible CBT’s are implied learning just like the trickery they use against you in the office. (To express (something) in an indirect way: to suggest (something) without saying or showing it plainly). Managers like to F with employees using this technique. This is how we create more busy work and distractions (wasting our time to create a false reality of "your going to be fired unless you work on the weekends"!). The last time I checked, humans need to ask questions in order to learn. The executives ask us for answers every day because they need us to train them. I called it How to Train Your executive Hamster day. I watched my manager run around asking other mangers for the answer just because the CBT answer did not seem logical. Some CBT's do not match departmental background expertise (example: asking a sales rep to answer a question on quantum physics).

CBTs = computer based training. All your compliance courses taken through Mylearning.

Most of these CBT are meant to trick you into a false sense of security. The CBT's are also very open ended in some cases. It is another form of controlling your thoughts. How many people lock there computer with a cable before you leave your desk? I know for a fact not one manager does in any office location (They do not penalize the managers for this and it is grounds for immediate termination in their books). Another form of discrimination falls with departments tipping off the managers before security comes in to review policies and the managers only warns who they like and will keep other individuals in the dark but the manager knows how clean up there shit fast and they get lazy after security leaves.

The firing has been petty every where to save a dime and they make it sound like you are a criminal and slander your name in their secret black list. Someone needs to step in and begin lawsuits of some sort (Enough of this bullshit tricky petty stuff to save a dime). Would it be too much to ask everyone to make a separate discussion here to give a few sentences for others to see how petty they are being and the slanderous ways they try to stick it to you? Awareness will help everyone and will help to show how evil this place is.

I heard the same thing about firing over CBT answers being shared among coworkers. This is getting tooo crazy. They are firing over any petty thing now. I believe they are doing things like that so they won't have to pay any severance.
