The majority of the DDs in the USA are working small land rig jobs, and do not have the experience or qualifications for high end offshore directional drilling work within EARC. We can find better DD hands from example Brazil, who perform much better and than the low quality DDs from Texas and Oklahoma. Yee Ha

Many DDs here in US sitting around developing piles. Can you not use us?

Yea, heard that job was a right disaster up with the best. Typical Italian uncoordinating and mismanaged from start to end.

I thought consultants were not being used. Recently on a job offshore Cyprus (ENI Saipem 10000) consultant DDs were used which caused major problems with lack of knowledge on using high end AutoTrak drilling tools. Absolute disaster and shambles offshore, and chaotic BHI management and coordinating onshore. Consultant DDs should never be used.

Heard that consultant DDs are again being used in EARC geomarket.
