I tried to get an internship with EDMC but basically got shot down by their architect/designer. Thanks you very much EDMC corporate real estate. I don't know if I should be happy or angry. I know I'm good at what I do and both of us could have benefitted. Specially gaining perspective on a real student experience. One class they never taught us was --How to close a school 101. PS nice fake blonde job.

AiP XXX.... Don't worry you're young. When it comes to the CRE internship; if you can draw an empty box on a blank piece of paper that's all the experience you would have gained had you been offered a position. Keep looking. Remember it's all about respect.. but sometimes standing up for oneself is where you have to most to gain. This day and age it's ok to express your issue on social media.
Of course, you're right, AiP XXX, if you have great skill it would be wasted in a culture like EDMC. A word of career advice, however: when faced with being rejected for a position, swallow and move on. It's potentially dangerous to go online and badmouth the employer. It's also bad for your psyche. The truth of the matter is that companies like EDMC would never hire their graduates, even for a internship. They know it is a sham. But some would rather attack than admit the game.
A sense of entitlement won't help you at a failing or successful company.
