I noticed some center employees posting. Has any one seen or heard what Jim hobby has been up to? He's been absent for a while now.
Excellent insight below..center employee here too..and we have all noticed major increases in production numbers...lots of timings of processes..moving around of people..we all feel it...and per another poster..im leary of the 23 and 24th...and add security walking around..its building up to the perfect storm
I don't have any specific info, but I'm assuming that the teams with low work inflow will have some people cut (or all people as it looks like they have been evaluating the process flow between teams so I'm thinking some teams might take on more responsibilities as other teams get eliminated), the managers of the reduced/eliminated teams will probably be cut, those temps that consist of Jen Robinson's daughter and friends should be cut (never should have been brought on in the first place)...I just work at the Center and observe what goes on around me, I don't have any verified insider info...I've survived a few rounds of layoffs now but I really get the feeling this is going to be big and handled in an unpleasant way. I read a comment in a different thread that said something about online being phased out, well, a lot of teams at the Center are based on the workflow from online students so if that's a true statement then that will be a lot of positions eliminated. I've come to terms with losing my job, I just wish this whole process didn't feel like such a secret attack that I need to be prepared for.

Marketing has always been weak. I did some Ai branding projects. Made little sense if we couldn't get th in the door in the 1st place.
Wonder how big the reduction will truly be. just recently got notice of next years open house formats that seem to indicate an circus environment with more money being spent on overall atmosphere. would be more prudent to keep expenses lower as open houses are not very well attended anymore. unless the marketing team is just desperate and being allowed to run wild.
