With Wednesday approaching fast and rumors flying , I can cut the tension on the floor in Pittsburgh. Is it like this at the campuses and Phoenix too?

If we get laid off we get laid off. Many of us will find work quickly. Some of us will create businesses. Take your severance and use it wisely.

Yes as a former student I should have done better research! Now I educate the public as to the mess that EDMC is and to avoid as if your life is on the line. I will not be going back to another for profit college ever.

As a student... I guess you'll start researching from now on. You only have yourself to blame. You don't just buy a car without any research so why choose a school without research... Yet some of these idiots go from for profit school to for profit school... Stupidity

It was definitely ugly today. Morale is at an all-time low-- I didn't even think it could get any lower than it was, but I was wrong. I'm anxious to see how this is going to pan out. A lot of people at AUO seem to think it's only going to affect AI. Too bad we all come from the same corrupt parent, so I doubt it.
Tension at my campus is at an all time high. Even long time full timers who have withstood a few big RIFs aren't sure they will make it this time around.
Where I work..people seem oblivious..people sitting back in their chairs with feet on desks surfing the web on their phones. People shopping on internet all day...seems like people have essay to much free time..so a cut to staffing makes sense. Only problem..they usually cut the wrong people....
All the executives are still getting paid BIG. Two of them took bonuses of around ONE MILLION. But we still get lay offs...

I think it would be hysterical if everyone formed a company wide call of day for Wednesday and Thursday this week. EDMC has all resources on deck to layoff tomorrow and Wednesday, would be great to screw with them like they screw with everyone else. Nothing like throwing a wrench in the plans.
Who's not coming in the next two days? Guess we should use our PTO
