Woah AIWs website says they aren't accepting US Grants!

Scroll down to State Educational Grants..... wtf is going on. I used to go and was thinking about going back because I figured it got better but all my grad friends said to avoid this place like the plague! They are $100,000 in the hole with no jobs in gaming and cannot take out loans to go to real schools. They are stuck working waitress and bestbuy jobs. They said I was smart and lucky for leaving after a year. So I googled and saw the stock at 14 cents and that the school can't accept grants now wooooooooaaaaah AIW staff whats going on???

Calif schools have been made ineligible for Cal Grants for 2014-2015 academic year. http://www.csac.ca.gov/pubs/forms/grnt_frm/2014_15_ineligible_cal_grant_schools.pdf Cal Grant A is up to $9200 per year for tuition, B is up to 9200 for living expenses and C is 2600 for books, so, in some cases, it can be a very important source of funding for low-income students, especially those who will now have problems qualifying for Plus, private loans.

The website says the school is not eligible for state education grants at this time. That has nothing to do with the federal Pell grant. The criteria for state grants varies from state to state and it's not unusual for schools to not be eligible for one, depending on the criteria. If the school was not eligible for the federal Pell grant that would certainly be something that would make the news.

This is a scam school and is on its way out of business. Enough said.
