I'm in Thousand Oaks and we all know about July 22nd. Its coming. Management has already been telling us for months to get our resumes ready. ECCR is going down.

Over time they eliminated the ethical quality base of people and are now hiring anyone off the street who does not have a criminal record (The new screening attempts to look for unethical people like our CEO).

I feel sorry for the employees at BofA ... not only are the branch banks in Tampa cutting the numbers but everyone seems to be a replacement 10 years younger than original person. One teller (THE teller) and three people trying to get people to use the new computer machines (with a bunch of poor suckers in cubes in Jacksonville). My area of town is OLD and "RICH" ... they are refusing to use the machines NOT because they don't know computers, but because they know the machines are replacing REAL neighbors and locals.

I once had three mortgages with BofA ... I tried refinancing in November and their "idiot appraiser" said my house was worth $205,000. She used NO PROPERTY in my zip code, one house sold as a quick sale; she used 3 houses all 3-1s under 1450 square feet ... my house was a 4-2 at 1800. I walked away after spending $450. I showed the report to two local realtors who wrote down the names and told me 1000 reasons they can't stand BofA.

One month later: same house new lender ... $330,000 (what Zillow and Trulia said it was worth) and 3.7% interest. I got rid of my other BofA stuff and finishing off my last BofA credit card. BofA should get rid of the word "America" from its title for they do not represent any American values I want to discuss. Seems they don't care what the world thinks of them ... J D POWELL says "ugh"

It is coming for sure. Look if you are not this wave then it will be in coming ones soon anyway. Because all the processing were moved to third party; such as servicing the mortgage loan, all of sudden you will receive a small lending company from somewhere in a small town in Central Florida indicates they are service your loan.

Costly project overhead (headcount) needs to be eliminated soon.

It will affect every lob, if not 7/22, then just give it some time. BAC has obviously decided to whack as many people as possible, not all at once, but if you are an associate, and you don't see it and you don't wake up everyday feeling like you put on a monkey suit with a bullseye on your back you are just drunk on the koolaid.

Does anyone know which line of business this is going to affect?

The dates are accurate. The date they say there will be layoffs, there is always a layoff.

The dates change because when they think they have their ducks in a row they realize they don't and change the layoff dates. They are making sure they cover everything before they do the big layoffs.

Layoffs on this site haven't been that accurate. Huge layoff posted last month was a bust, unless you were one of the few canned and didn't want it. As often as BAC is laying off, could do as well throwing darts on a calendar of Wednesdays

The person that posted the last two layoffs was actually correct. They were accurate with May and June. I appreciate them posting this and won't complain about it. Hopefully, I can find a job before the next layoff. FYI, there have been layoffs in the past that didn't happen on a pay week.

Anonymous110089 What does this have to do with layoffs ? This site is about layoffs. Personally I don't care what's going on with corporate. I do care about my job and others at this company. Everyone knows how underhanded the upper echelon has been and continues to be. What makes June 22nd the date for the next layoff? I can only reiterate that it is conjecture. No one truly knows the dates and if they do, it's coming from a prior manager or someone who is close to a current manager who is not afraid to post things on this site. By prior, I simply mean recently departed from the company and they knew what was coming. Regardless, we will all be looking forward to the 22nd of July. We will see what, if anything, comes to fruition. I doubt that all sites will be involved in rightsizing. The company needs some of the sites with all currently employed. If they do, then corporate hasn't a clue how to run a company efficiently without getting rid of good people. Maybe they need to stop all the huge pay increases to their pockets. Hope they aren't involved in anything,,,,,,, better left to the imagination. But the money is going somewhere. It sure isn't used to save jobs. The heartless b*stards. Maybe this does have to do with corporate after all Anonymous110089. Have at it!

Surprising the executives showed up. Must be an act of desperation on the sponsoring company and real dumb business move for the executives to show up. Pending an investigation this could be seen more than a bribe. I thought the rules were very clear of not doing what was done. Give us all the names

Charlotte NC Dixon Hughes Goodman LLC (DHGLLP) wined and dined bank of America at Christmas time in hopes to gain more business from them. Is this called smart business or is it called a bribe? Almost all the executives from bank of America showed up to this Pre Christmas party. Did any other company have preferred treatment from bank of America at Christmas time or is this it? Bank of America has been hiring more from this company. The ordeal was very secretive and very unlike bank of America favoring one agency over another or not? HR and corporate security must have endorsed this?

Based on the facts where managers can segregate employees by holding parties at there house or pulling a group together ticket events or selecting which people they will go out to lunch with. I would say this is corruption by managers where they could obtain any information they wish. Would Corporate Security like to discuss how many times they have met managers outside work at restaurants discussing employees or sensitive information. I think we have a violation and if we investigate the past we have large issues never seen before.

Looks like the bank is continuing games to reduce management’s responsibility. New customer banking layout states “more tools to manage your online banking security”.

Since the bank has failed to secure themselves from hackers the new game is make the customer responsible? I would suggest opening a second account with a competitor bank. Covertly they do know how much is in your bank account before raises are determined. This is not the time to be complacent (get it done)!!!!!.

Predictability creates lawsuits and shows they are liable. They must switch things up now and again. This is identical to when they perform rank adjustments in a department in order to hide managers failing to perform their job. I guess no one read the last 8 months of topics.

Our group (Corporate Workplace) will learn our fate on July 1 if we are being offered jobs by the new companies or shown the door. The first transition will be Sept 1 and the last will be Aug 1. The numbers are around 515 people.
